How's this for an interesting shmup story

After seeing this thread and the Power Strike high score thread I gave it a go... only to be pwned and finish with 1.5M or so.

Here I am , sorry for bringing back this old topic.

I have finished Aleste many times on MSX, which even has one extra stage.

Its COMPLETELY possible to finish the game after dying at ANY spot, I can asure you

And Weapon 2 is the way to go.

Great story JP. Now go play Aleste 2 on MSX

Way better than either Power Strike game on the SMS

Seeing this thread is give me inspiration to give another go!

I am feel lots of Compile love right now. I just 1cc Zanac Neo this past weekend and the Blazing Lazers talk and this Power Strike thread is make me feel the urge to play

If you are going to emulate it, then just make it the proper way, get an MSX emulator and play Aleste instead
