Did you play these doujin shooters?

Post by stratos »

I found this shop:

Now, I ask what are the games really worthy to be bought beside Shangai Alice shooters (that are also out of stock) if you know them.

Thank you

Some of them look very tempting indeed. I love this shop, but i've never ordered from them. Might have to splash a bit of cash after I get some capital in.

Another recommendation for Bike Banditz.

But seriously, stop by Shoot the Core, there are probably links to demos for quite a few of those games if you want to try them out.

The reason why its out of stock though is because FN A&G pulled the game from shelves amid some concerns about the title. I bought it, and can't say that I don't blame them. The game is not worth the asking price of damn near $70. It looks and feels cheap.

I have a few of those games listed. I would strongly suggest picking up any of the Shanghai Alice games, I own all of them and have not been disapointed by any so far. Also Air Rade Air is a fantastic horizontal shmup with some fairly unique and intresting gameplay mechinics, get's quite crazy in the later stages and there is a ton of stuff to unlock including a truck load of hidden characters.

Also if these guys still do requests you might want to check out a game called Zen-Inci as it's a really nice fast paced vert shmup. And I am not sure about Bike Bandits since I have never played it but if it's playing other games made by the same people have to go by (Drill Milky Punch springs to mind here) then I would imagen the quality of the game being fantastic.

p.s: Pallet Mail is your friend!

I liked the first one better. The second had too much emphasis on MOTION BLUR, but I liked how the post-stage result reminds me of Contra III.

Bike Banditz is Hyper Solid Shooting and you should get it if you have the money to do so.

If you only have the money to afford only a few Touhou games, get Immaterial and Missing Power and Shoot the Bullet as those are the most interesting of them all; the rest are very traditional and boring if you've played these two. You can also get Phantasmagoria of Flower View if you have a lot of people to play against locally.

Yeah, but I also heard from the Shrinemaiden community that the netplay patch leaves a lot to be desired; the hacked netplay program for Immaterial and Missing Power is a lot better if you want a comparision in performance.

That was the first game that came into my mind when it came to games with a netplay hack and wasn't on Xbox Live that was very stable. Forgive me. -_-

Can you enter an existing match to watch and record them in that hack?

You're doing this to spite me, aren't you? =D

And my interpretation of your statement is sort of confusing me right now as it can also mean that you own the PC-98 games too. I hear those are hard to find nowadays.

Na I don't own a PC-98 but I own a Personal Computer (make sense?). IoMP is proberbly the next game on my list as I have a lot more money left over than I though I would have this month after paying bills and stuff.

Might also make another random Shmup purchase as well! :D (proberbly bike bandits)
