what is "odds"? additonal? :?:
It is just an English expression. "What are the odds of that happening" is another way of saying, "the odds of you getting #0001 are extremely low". Anyways, congrats!

odds = the chance, likely hood or probability that something will happen.

like the odds of you buying #00001 board are very small so you have been extremely lucky!

Grats Nev on the new PCB. Lucky score for the first one off the production line, too. ^_-

And yes please, post some creditfeed replays if you can. Quite a few people would be interested in seeing more of the game, even if it is someone just jamming tons of credits into the game.

Enjoy your purchase. (And if you don't, sell it to me. ^_-)

The player dies and bombs several times, and the boss ends up timing out, so either this is some master strategy or the guy was just goofing around. He only gets 10 million from the battle, so I'm gonna go with the latter.
can someone post a link of the torrent site?

I had a chance to try this out yesterday at Hey (along with some other shmups I never thought I'd get to try) and have to say that I found it really fun (and sort of weird....piggies everywhere). I haven't kept up with this thread so I knew nothing about the game other than it existed and it's new but I liked the little taste I had of it. I just wish I knew what I was doing.

I'm jealous of you Neverland! Enjoy your new purchase though and hopefully you can get this video recording issue sorted out soon.

INH has posted a video illustrating how to score in MMP:

http://www.inhgroup.com/blog/index.php?itemid=93

Right click to save on the picture, or the link below it, in the top post to save the 26MB video. Pretty neat, could this mean an INH MMP superplay is forthcoming?

RE: Nev's 00001 PCB, that's pretty neat, but it does not mean it was the first PCB off the assembly line. Cave serials are all random numbers, they do not indicate any production order. Exceptions may be the Black Label PCBs, but even with those we don't know for sure if the serials are marked in order or randomly.

No.
It's for the score competition that is being held, ending July 1st.

Yeah I saw that, but the fact INH is hosting/advertising it leads me to believe they'll produce a DVD in the future. Afterall, they have to scout for talent for a DVD, and a score trial is a great way.

Would be nice, but until an official announcement is made I won't be holding my breath.

Galford was going to make a pink sweets dvd. He has the runs recorded but was worried about copyright violations if he sold his video.

The 722m ddp C-S run was also made by another player and not put out for sale. Maybe for the same worries.

It seems like INH has really slowed down the rate at which they release dvds.

i agree with twe that a scoring contest is an excellent way of soucting for talent. and if it's anything it's a nice way to support cave/arcades as more people will spend more money on the game. though it does seem a bit early in the life MMP to get a superplay dvd already.
zlk wrote:Galford was going to make a pink sweets dvd. He has the runs recorded but was worried about copyright violations if he sold his video.
he should be worried if he sells them as that would clearly be illegal / massive copyright/trademark infringement. even distributing superplay vidoes for free is not exactly legal though i don't think cave would demand people to stop doing that as that would most likely alienate their fanbase. but i'm convinced that cave would take action if they find someone selling superplay dvds of their games without their prior consent and appropriate royalties.
zlk wrote:The 722m ddp C-S run was also made by another player and not put out for sale. Maybe for the same worries.
they should just release them for free! i could really use some visual guidance for everything past level 4 in pink sweets. :/
zlk wrote:It seems like INH has really slowed down the rate at which they release dvds.
yeah, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. they are a relatively small company and releasing dvds like that costs quite a lot of money. and if you release too many all at once your audience will be saturated for a while as not everyone can afford it at release day. though i wouldn't mind hearing an announcement for a new shmup superplay from them. :)

@rtw: thanks for your continued effort!
