Another Video

Post by Pirate1019 »

Still made in Movie Maker. :(

Youtube

Filefront

The download on Filefront is much higher quality then the Youtube version. It was too big to submit as an mpeg or as the size Movie Maker saved it as so it had to be shrunk down.

Technically I think it's much better then my first video. It's in mpeg format and is a higher screensize and (I think)quality.

Still no gameplay from me, but Fraps doesn't seem to want to cooperate and let me run MAME at full speed. I promise to start adding my own gameplay once I sort out what the problem is.

Before anybody asks, the song is called In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 by Coheed and Cambria. Supposedly they sound kinda like Rush, but I don't listen to Rush so I can't say whether it's true or not. If it's still too 'Greenday-ish' for you then sorry to disappoint. The next movie I make will probably feature some Mastodon or something so please keep the bitching down at least a little bit.

If I end up making another video (I probably will) then I'll just make a dedicated thread for them like DJI's superplay mixes thread.

As with any sort of project like this, Feedback is appreciated.

Cool video. Reminds me to get back into Darius Gaiden, but I'm still waiting until I get a TV that displays the whole screen and a DVD-R player.

GREAT video! Made me wanna play Gradius five again!

The music was great this time, like coheed and cambria, it's one of the very few good emo bands.

Very well done, although seeing that 2nd Drill Demo video on the left side is depressing. :(

This is good. I was worried it would get the same knocks about bad music as my first video after reading Dave_K.'s comment, but looks like enough people liked it to call it a sucess in my mind.

Coheed counts as emo? I never really noticed. All of their albums are concept albums based around a sci-fi story. Pretty wild stuff if you actually read into it.
