can anyone help me mod my japanese duo-r?
i finally have access to rgb display on my tv (through a converter) and i wish to play my duo-r with the glorious rgb display. anyone here care to help, perhaps with a fee? i have no idea how to mod even after looking at the guide from gamesx several times, and i'm not taking chance. thanks.

D-lite over on the neo-geo forums mods duos quite nicely. His website is www.multimods.com . Check him out, he's in the USA.

I recall that a fellow shmupper by the name of Matt Ross used to mod Turbo Duo/PC Engine Duo consoles with both S-Video + RGB outputs on the old Shmups.com forum from a few years back... ^_~
The PCE Duo's RGB output option works wonders with an analog RGB monitor or a Japanese RGB 21-pin cable in conjunction with a Microcom XRGB upscan convertor setup..... ^_~

Yeah, I'd recommend D-Lite as he is the Duo/PC Engine modding expert from what I've heard/seen. I'd be willing to help you out though if you have any questions and if you can't get a hold of him I might even be able to do the mod for you. I'm familiar with the GameSX mod and it's quite doable for me.
