ESPGaluda or DoDonpachi DaoJou?
I'd like to buy both but I can only afford one at this time. Which one should I buy and why?
...and Ibara would've been one of my choices if I could find it new.
Thanks in advance!

You mean since the last time there was a "which should I buy" thread? Considering that was like a day ago, no, I don't think they've changed much at all.durias wrote:Have you found that opinions on ESPGaluda and/or DoDonpachi DaoJou have changed much?NTSC-J wrote:I've never seen a message board repeat the same topics so many damn times. It's Dai Ou Jou, btw. "DaoJou" sounds like you're talking about stock options.

I would also vote for Espgaluda. In fact, I was given the choice of purchasing either for about the same price and opted to go with Espgaluda over DDP DOJ.
Of course, I think that Espgaluda II would be even better if you can swing it. It notches up the difficulty and looks even better than Espgaluda while expanding on the game system.

For durias,
My suggestion is to pick 'em both up (DDP-DOJ & ESPgaluda) since they both have the cool Superplay DVDs included -- they are Region 2 encoded however. Re-burn 'em seperately as a all-region (aka 'Region 0') DVD-R and they'll play in your Region 1 DVD player without a hitch... ^_~
My original Japanese print of Psyvariar Appreciate DVD Vol. 1 (which is a Region 2 formatted DVD) had to be re-burned as an all-region DVD-R for it to play on a Region 1 DVD player setup...of course, having an all-region DVD player would the answer to all of your problems...... ^_~
And yes, DDP-DOJ will personally hand your ass to you forcefully -- it's a very brutal maniac and super hard-core arcade shmup title to master. The bullet hell that's found in DDP-DOJ will have you begging for mercy and none will be given, especially for newbies. ^_~
Anyone up for a Dodonpachi 4 PCB?

Daijoubu is a hardcore gaming among the hardcore. Get Galuda if you're not up to the task (not that Galuda is in any way easy.)
Edit: oopps not daijoubu. Daioujou.
