sorry for not adding anything relevant to the thread, but I've got a small request - if I'm not mistaken, the arcadia issue released earlier this month (#84 / May 07), should have the final results of the futari scoretrial. if that is true, and if one of the regulars has access to the mag, if he could take a scan or a digicam image of the top20(top50?) that would be quite helpful - if you have no chance to take a pic, even just an approx "write up" if the top5 for each game mode (original/maniac/ultra) would be welcome. thanks in advance, and take your time.

also, if there are new hiscores for other games (other than the 500+M Tigerschwert score reported in the Ketsui DS thread), feel free to pass the info too. :)

You can actually see holes in the bullets this time around. Still, it looks pretty crazy.

For Ko.oS - I'll try to get a pic later, for now..

Original Mode:

#1 - 505,956,758 - GFA2-ISO
#2 - 485,763,753 - ちょーぎりぎりRAMちゃん
#3 - 483,320,698 - お茶マニア-KMT (am I reading the kanji correctly as "Tea"? lol)

Maniac Mode:

#1 - 950,569,417 - Clover-TAC
#2 - 749,714,011 - chrono@残2orz
#3 - 743,872,577 - AKF

Ultra Mode:

#1 - 2,706,177,212 - ユセミさん
#2 - 2,161,255,216 - ピーカラホイッ*fufufu

There are two pages of interviews with Clover-TAC, Yusemi-San and GFA2-ISO as well.

We should get someone to translate the interview. I'd like to see what they have to say.

Also, #1 player for Ultra mode would be Yusemi-SWY? Or is it #2?

Seconded for translation, and SWY is #1.

#1 Ultra player is "Yusemi-san", which I assume is Yusemi-SWY as his interview pic looks kind of familiar.

My Japanese isn't up to the task of translating something like that :(
I'm sure a couple of the guys here will be able to though.

Ah, thanks for pointing out which slot Yusemi-SWY is in. :)

Hopefully GaijinPunch will be up to the task if he's not busy.

Just watched the TLB video. Damn, it's so long that it's boring. Too much stuff...

I'm sure I won't be arrested if I say both, but nature the most. Bloody cow, why the hell is Yusemi so superior to the other players EVERY TIME?
I also like the fact that Dame K.K is still there. I think I enjoy that player or something.

KMT is actually now back in second, with a 499mil score:

Maniac Mode:

#1 - 950,569,417 - Clover-TAC
#2 - 749,714,011 - chrono@残2orz
#3 - 743,872,577 - AKF
There are a few guys with scores in the 800-900 mil range now, like this guy:

I'd also be up for doing translation of the Yusemi-SWY interview. I rarely pass those up.

Yeah... 750 seems very low for #2. A guy that plays at my local 50 yen arcade who isn't hard core in the least has gotten 710.

That guy seems quite confident that he'll get four of them. Actually, it's not a bad idea. If he doesn't, he just has to end the auctions early.

I don't really care for the soundtrack much. The extras look promising though.

Apparently there's a picture of Cave's next game on the back of the booklet. Any word on what it is?

FYI, it took a little longer than usual, but the CD's are officially sold out. Wonder when Play Asia will get them.

Are there two versions of the OST? I'm seeing a DVD-styled case version and a standard CD jewel case version.

I believe the jewel case is inside the bigger box.

Geezer is right. There's an almost A4 sized box, and in it is the booklet (same size as the box), plus the CD, and the two straps.

What happened with Pink Sweets?
You could always get one from YHJ as there are a few on there, I'm not sure if they are decent deals as I don't know the retail price in Japan.

pre-orders for the pink sweets opened up on the 8th of november 2006 at play-asia but they didn't ship the discs untill the 16th of january 2007 cause their stock hadn't reached them any sooner. so there was a 2month+ delay before they shipped it and before the pre-oders opened they had "pre-orders opening soon" for at an equal amount of time...would suck if a similar scenario were to happen again.

don't know either and with the added cause of a bidding service they're bound to become fairly pricey, i guess. once play-asia has them they will be fairly priced if past experiences are anything to go by. so i'll guess i'll try to be patient for a while still...
