No use, Cave strictly forbade CocoeBiz/VGM World to provide Cave STs for international fans since Mushihimesama pre-orders got cut short by Cave.Kiken wrote:Somebody needs to inform the fine folks over at CocoEBiz about this.eretsua wrote:*dances around very happily*....only...where will we western'ers be able to pick it up? play-asia was only 2 months late with shipping the pink sweets ost.GaijinPunch wrote:Soundtrack on sale 05.07 through Ge-sen Yokocho.
They couldn't get Ibara, ESP 2 and Pink Sweets. We'll have to hope that Play-Asia will have it eventually. Hopefully they will be more timely in their delivery than Pink Sweets. Otherwise.... if you have connections in Japan

I got my ESPGaluda II CD & DVD through them. Cave can't forbid Cocobiz from buying shit. They just have to wait in line like everyone else. Cave traditionally allowed each Ge-sen Yokocho customer to reserve 5 copies of whatever item they were selling. I assume Cocobiz had a few people do that. They couldn't get Ibara, ESP 2 and Pink Sweets.
I might join Ge-sen Yokocho to reserve some.

I'll see what I can do. There's no official announcement from Cave yet. I got the scoop from Danmaku-gata who got it from someone else. If they have the standard Ge-sen Yokocho members can preorder 5 pcs, then I'll join. If it's just one, I will probably just test my luck when orders for mere humans start.

It seems SWY did the ALL in Ultra (not a big surprise). Apparently, here are the new high scores:
Original mode: 505,956,758
Maniac mode: 950,569,417
Ultra mode: 2,706,177,212
Pretty sure all were done with Normal Reco. This info is still just coming from 2ch, so don't take it as set in stone. Will have to wait for the new arcadia to confirm.

Scoring in Original mode is simple: whenever possible kill stuff with the C shot when the 100 digit on the multiplier in the upper left of the screen is between 0-4 (it's colored green during this time), and kill stuff with the A shot when it's between 5-9 (it's colored blue during this time). This will give you large gems, which make your multiplier go higher faster. Try not to die, and you rake in big points as you go along. Every time you die your multiplier goes down by 25%.
Also, try and kill enemies when you're close to them, the gems will glow green and will give you twice the value of normal gems, increasing your counter even faster.

I soon as I wrote that last post I clicked on the other thread you made in the strategy section, all very useful thanks! I'll drop a couple of credits in today and try it out.TWE wrote:Scoring in Original mode is simple: whenever possible kill stuff with the C shot when the 100 digit on the multiplier in the upper left of the screen is between 0-4 (it's colored green during this time), and kill stuff with the A shot when it's between 5-9 (it's colored blue during this time). SIN has posted stage 3 and 4 Maniac mode vids:
http://sinmoon.sakuraweb.com/movie.html
Stage 3 is 142mil, stage 4 is a whopping 150mil.
I haven't downloaded the files yet as right now his site is down due to the heavy downloads of these files, but keep checking it today and tomorrow and it should pop up again.
EDIT: Link is working now

1.0 seems to have been completely replaced with 1.5, so I guess thats the standard now. I noticed a sign stuck to a few 1.5's that said "this is in answer to those who think modern shooters are too difficult", so presumably they made the update easier?TWE wrote:I have to make a new strategy thread for ver 1.5 though. There are some big differences between the two versions.
I was surprised by the gentle learning curve in 1.5, at least compared to the first level of (say) Esp2.
