Joystick lubricant/grease
Joystick lubricant/grease
I have an old joystick that never moves back into neutral position, so I took it apart and realized it just need some lubricant on the bearing. Problem is I just don't know what kind of grease I should use. Anyone care to suggest one and where place to buy it?
nope, that's not lubricant. I mean stuff like this:

(it's not the one I actually use, just a quick google search)
it typically looks clear/translucent

Great post, I needed that, but forgot to ask anyone.
Now to translate it to dutch and figure out if it can be bought anywhere.
For what applications would this typically be used?
This could hint where I could find something like this.
So it's greace for plastic parts. My joystick has a metal shaft being pushed through plastic with a spring as well. I have to clean it and put this stuff in there. For me too, sometimes the shaft keeps leanin' to the left (don't fantasize, pls.)

How about getting some "Sex Wax" lubricant for your joystick? I hear that it's supposed to work wonders... (Just j/k'ing here, dude) ^_~Specineff wrote:Good God. You wouldn't believe the amount of dirty images in my mind when I read your post. I should do some gargles with Holy Water.

grease this
you might also try a hobby shop as plastic compabitible grease is used in many hobbies, especially model railroading.
