For you info, superplay is available, the guy do all clear 533 Millions...

I just can't understand how he manage to get 125Millions after the first stage.

Its multiplier sky rocket, when mine stay low...

He's Japanese. That's always worth about +220 multiplier.

Finally got to play the game tonight. Spent about 2 hours with it. Here's my score:

jp - 68,276,187 Stage 4 - Linear-shot - AS-off

OK, so what triggers the additional boss fights? Because sometimes the boss fights are really long... sometimes they aren't.

At any rate, great game, I'm loving it! You need to make a table for Arrange scores too!

V.B.A.S. is entirely based on the number of medals you have when each boss form is supposed to appear. Right now, Warashi's Exelica page has some information on how many medals are needed to trigger each form in both Arcade/Story and Arrange modes.

Argh! This SHOULD be 110mil+, but I fucked up on the 3rd boss so I lost not only my multiplier, but also the fat bonus as well. And if I hadn't had those two stupid deaths in level 3... this would probably be a 1CC, since it was at the final boss (how many forms does the final boss have anyways) and I had to play through level 5 on 1-life.

I 1-lifed it up to stage 5 AND fought every form of every boss along the way. Had one stupid death at the first midboss of stage 5 and one more death at the final boss. Just wondering, but does the final boss have anymore forms? I only fought one...

Anyways, on to Arrange mode I suppose!

Congrats jp! I wasn't going to bother posting to update my scores, but you deserve a grats anyways -_^ And I want to bitch about my suckiness.

I still have a hard time with stage 3 Fain Tear when I see her, since I haven't fought her much, and same with the stage 4 boss (I've fought him all of twice). So... all I need is a bit more experience with the game, and perhaps I'll have a clear sometime soon =D

Anyways, actually had a couple decent (decent for me) runs today (I couldn't do dick on Saturday... was just an off day), and my best was -> RWM / Stage 4 / 83,617,154 / Cruel Tear / AS-Off

Edit: At the request and apparent interest of jp, I'll add an Arrange list. If someone wants Story, feel free to ask, but ... Isn't Story Mode just Arcade with dialogue?

With the Stage 3 Fain Tear here's what I did:

For the first form, capture one of her options and let it explode immediately. This clears up some of the bullet hell you would otherwise have to dodge!

For the second form, well, lock on early and blast away! And dodge like mad. There's probably an easier way to do it, but that way always works for me.

My questions are as follows:
Does Fain Tear appear in Stages 2 or 4? I've cleared 2 with 3000+ medals and 4 with 6000+ medals, and have never had to fight her in either level.

Is there more than one form to the final boss? I died once during the fight and had less than 2000 medals because of it, so I'm thinking its possible.

I know Fain Tear only appears on stages 1 and 3. I don't know how many forms the final boss is capable of having though =/

I might do that once my internet comes back on. There's definitely a lot of neat stuff I discovered while playing. (i.e. the longer medals are on screen they grow bigger and are worth more).

Thanks for adding Arrange, I'll look up and post my score tomorrow.

You'll always fight Faintear in lv. 1/3 in Story. Also, the final battle is a bit different. Both could have a minor impact on overall scores even though the scoresystem is the same.

Perhaps you should start a GD thread eh, jp?

GD thread with basic ramblings, centered on differences between the game modes.

For the second form of Lv. 3 Faintear, I lock onto the small option to her left at the beginning of the fight, which leaves me in a good position to toss it and kill her very early on.

Is there a second form for the final boss? I had a little under 2000 medals when it died due to a death... so I'm just wondering if I missed out on something (especially since the ending was kinda depressing, maybe I got a bad ending?.

If not, I'll start hammering away on Arrange Mode.

Nope, just the one final boss form in Arcade Mode. If you want different endings, try the Story Mode

Well I finally single credit cleared Triggerheart Exelica. Wasn't my best score though T_T Cleared it with 107M (only died once, bwahahhhahahahah!), and my best is 111M somewhere on stage 5. It's because I screwed up my medal gain in stage 3, and didn't get to see the final boss pattern, let alone the extra boss. That was probably a good 10M points or so down the drain. I'll keep playing it to see if I can better my score until shmupretiation is over, then it's back to ESPgaluda ^_^
