Can I mix US and Jap games on one card, or do I need seperate ones like with Gamecube?

For ktownhero,

It is known that if you have either a 10000 or 15000 SCPH based Japanese Bios PS2 console, they do require a PS2 memory card to utilize the DVD drivers v1.00 and v1.01. A Japanese Sony PS2 memory card loaded with JPN PS2 DVD driver v1.00 is very much desired as it can turn such 10000 or 15000 PS2 console into an "international DVD player".

What's interesting is that some particular mega USA 3rd-party PSX memory cards will not save Japanese PSX games on such a slot if there are already USA based PSX game saves -- weird but true! (And same holds true if a certain memory slot on such mega PSX memory card contains Japanese PSX games, USA PSX game saves won't save either...)

The best 3rd-party PSX mega memory cards that I use are the Mad Catz 32MB mega memory cards -- haven't had any problems saving and mixing 'n' matching both Japanese & USA PSX game saves. ^_~
