Ketsui PCB - what is the battery for ?

Post by Coryoon »

Ok, I have been wondering and funnily enough posed this question on another board, but still am curious for the answer.

At the top of the Pcb there is what appears to be a battery, just next to a toggle switch.

So any ideas as to what the battery supplies and also what will happen when it runs flat?

Also, what is the toggle switch for?
2d will never die.

I believe the battery is just there to save settings.

The toggle switch...the toggle switch is there to break your board. Don't touch it. (It isn't permanent; but the board will crash/act weird if you mess with that switch)

whats the correct direction of the switch? ie: the direction of the switch that is normal, and doesn't make the board go wonky?
