So long as Sega continue to support NAOMI and subsequently the GD-ROM format, we'll most likely continue to see these late sporadic DC releases. It really has become the same situation as the Neo-Geo.Specineff wrote:^^ Ban, plz.
Just busting your chops. On topic, I am glad to see more shooting love on the little white console, and I hope sales are good enough that we get even more releases like this.
At this point, for the DC to truly die, I think GD-ROM production would have to be halted entirely.

More chaos erupts during 'marriage prob' sessions... ^_~
So does that mean you & ChaosField both are going seperate ways while in "marriage problem" sessions?...say it isn't so? A divorce then?...so be it! Ah, guess it's time to split everything 50/50 right down the line, hmmm?...And does the wife take the kids + the house too? -- leaving you with nothing.....WTF!? As the old saying goes: There are plenty of fish in the sea to check out if the bitchin' wife wants out, marriage-wise...(this only applies to the USA regarding "divorce issues" for our international shmuppers reading this...) ^_~Rob wrote:What the, just as I edited Chaos Field into my post. There's nothing to work out.
Anyways, back to the subject matter of Naomi to DC port of Trigger Heart Extension...can't wait for it to appear in Feb. 2007! The DC ain't dead yet -- keep those new sporadic DC GD-Rom game discs coming..... ^_~

I just ordered mine last night, as well as several more for my friends. I ordered it through segadirect.jp. I missed out on the Radilgy telephone card last year, so I made sure not to lose out this time and ordered early. But if I remember, that one last year was a freebie and was first come, first serve. Anyhow, I'll be able to save a little bit of money this way instead of ordering through Play Asia and have my mom-in-law send it to me. Yay.

Well, it's probably more like they're just slapping THE and THE Ver A on one disc.neoalphazero wrote:According to Gamefront (via Arcadia), the DC version will have a arrange mode as well as the voice acting additions. The arrange mode appears to be a simple change in the scoring system (like Radigry ports I'm guessing). *-neo

What're the differences between the original and Revision A? Does it note the difference anywhere on the title screen or anything?Kiken wrote:Well, it's probably more like they're just slapping THE and THE Ver A on one disc.
Sega's page also mentions the Arcade/Story/Arrange mode stuff for the DC version but isn't too explicit as to the changes. The companion soundtrack and booklet for the Limited Edition are looking like pretty healthy bonuses, though. Still no case/boxart.

Yes, Ver.A is on the title screen. As far as I know, it's only a bug fix (something about game crashing with 2P side).nZero wrote:What're the differences between the original and Revision A? Offical website redesigned and updated. A little bit of new information snuck in, although probably not anything that wasn't covered elsewhere.

Ooh, thanks! It's like a whole game site now!
I'm really pretty excited about this game. I found myself getting pretty stoked merely by looking at the "information" page... the simply bullet pattern, the stage 2 start screen with its structural columns and the character speech box, the high score list with its colorful entries... I think that it'll be really fun for me.
Ah! "Faintear." I was wondering what her name was. Obviously she's incredibly obsessed with Crueltear and is slowly performing complete identity theft. Not to sound like a dork, but I wonder if she'll be playable at some point; I always feel like that in character-based games, even though it's not necessarily a good thing (a la Sonic the Hedgehog). One to play and the idea of playing as others is enough, I think. Logically though, she'd be slow speed with the most powerful shot.
Anyway, I wonder why she and Crueltear got glossy new character images. Crueltear kinda looks different for some reason though.

Nice. I've got my copy order from Yakumo, who runs the Segagaga Domain fansite, and it is the Sega Direct LE edition. Has anyone else ever ordered items from him before?Kiken wrote:From NCSX:

My SegaDirect LE pre-order at Play-Asia is now at preparing so i guess they must've received their stock or think that they will very soon.
I regret ordering at Play-Asia for this one. Yakumo has listed a poster as being part of the package of the SegaDirect LE edition but Play-Asia isn't
I really hope it will be included at Play-Asia too. I pre-ordered Karasu from Yakumo instead, just in case.
Never ordered from him, but saw a lot of good feedback. I think it's as safe or safer then buying something off this forum.

I really want to enjoy this one.

I'd think so as well. I went out on a limb and ordered my Sega Direct version from Yakumo the day after he posted his pre-order info. I'm definately glad I did now.GaijinPunch wrote:I'm pretty sure the Sega Direct LE's are all sold out at Sega Direct. If you've not ordered one yet, you will likely not be getting one.

A real shame too, since I would've liked a poster to accompany the game. Even the non SD-LE with OST would be boss.
At least I scooped a normal copy...
