Oh no, not again. every so often somebody comes along and rubs this in.
Sorry mate, this game was cancelled. I bet this game would've sold about 20 X-Boxes from shmembers from this board alone.
Anyway, this cancellation is too hard to swallow. I got the Raiden Fighters pcb. It's worth every penny. IMHO it's the best pre-2000 shmup series. Battle Garegga is no.2.
Who said something about a petition?

rofl...I would love to see a petition like that work : ) I just hope there's still a chance to see this game released. How much did you spend on your pcb, anyways?

Well...it does give a Japanese release date! So perhaps this has been resurrected. If so, my XBOX is getting a mod!

I wouldn't mind seeing the Raiden Fighters games make it to XBLA at some point, but in the meantime I've got 1 and 2 on PCBs myself (haven't played 2 in quite a while though.)

"december 31, 2006" was a generic TBA release date for gamespot that somehow got propagated to IGN

I wouldn't mind seeing Moss take over this project. Unfortunately, I believe this is coming on the 12th of Never.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

Correction noted. New World Order went out of business, AFIK. Leave it to IGN to not remove a bunk release date. One of their writers tried to justify this practice once by arguing that predicting game releases is like predicting the weather. To which I can only add that it's a good thing IGN doesn't do so, otherwise this week's local forcast would call for coastal flooding in Denver. :?

Battlesmurf, I was able to smurf it for 150 $ including shipping from the renowned Icarus of this forum.
