The Official Cool PCB You Just Got Thread!

Post by undamned »

Not to double up on the "latest game hauls" thread, but I wanted one that was PCB specific.

I've been looking for this pig for years. And whoever the first bidder was can punch himself in the mouth repeatedly for not using the buy-it-now for $89.99:

Way to go UD. It's no $90 but at least you got it eh.

I haven't gotten any PCB super recently, last one I got was OutZone, to replace the one I sold last year. Oh how I missed it.

Good luck with that Bill Burger guy. He sold me a broken Naomi mobo. Seems to be hit or miss with him. A nice thread devoted to him on neogeo.com.

My last official cool PCB I got was Toaplan's GHOX with two controllers. 8)

Got Gals Panic last week. I've always liked Qix/Volified, so I figured "Qix with naked chicks? Hells yeah!!!"  Only I cant rotate the monitor in my cab so I have to play it horizontaly with the controls rotated

I got ESP Ra. De. international last week. I really dig it. After having Bakraid in my cab for months and growing tired of it, it's nice to have something fresh to play. My cab was starting to get lonely sitting in the corner unplayed for so long.
Feedback will set you free.

Just that and some generic stuff like Commando and Alien Storm. I realised I was getting back into the mad PCB hoarding situation and won't be buying any more for a while now.

I just traded my Dimahoo for an Ajax board this week. Ajax is so old school it is truly awesome!

I also got in the recent weeks a Tetris Grandmaster board, Chopper I, and Tenagai.

Lastly, I got a pristine Asteroids Deluxe cabinet for $350.

Feel free to sell me that kit if you feel guilty about spending so much recently... I am still in PCB hoard mode and don't feel so bad.

the Road of the Sword [PCB ver.] ~ IGS 2003

I just intered the PCB scene recently. Just finished up a ten week internship in Japan, found a couple of PCB shop in Akihabara.

Picked up Armed Police Batrider for 10,000 yen
and Dogyuun for 6,000 yen

Just started getting into Batrider, great game. I love the city shmup feel. By the time I got to the fith level where your blowing shit up above a sandy beach with dope loungue style bit-tunes playing in the background, I fell in love.

The hard part is decideing what to get next.

I'm going to ask a really dumb question here. (I sence a stupid quoting coming on soon). What re they? Do you stick them into arcade machines?

Wish I read this earlier, I'm actually waiting for one of these to arrive from him right now :( Atleast I paid via paypal.

Last PCB I got was progear about a week ago, looks and plays the cat's ass on a cab.

The last PCB I got was a Neo Geo MVS-1FZ motherboard. (The last, and really small MVS)

Got it for 20 Euros. Good deal, if I do say so myself. :)

Printed Circuit Boards, in this case, arcades games. You can play them in an arcade cabinet or with a supergun (a small device that lets you play PCBs on a regular TV).

Are you sure?

I thought the last mvs board was a MV1-C, I have one of these and it is very small and is brand new boxed.

Hmm, I always thought the FZ-1 was the last one, but I might be wrong. It is the smallest though. Well, together with the A-1, which looks the same except for the bios being in a different place.

Hi !

Latest pcb arrival:
Search and Rescue by good old SNK.

Better call this game: Guts and gore to the floor.

Too bad it is only running correctly with a LS 30 arcade stick.

Awaiting some more pcbs next week.

Greetings
RFK

Btw: I have to check out my collection...maybe i have broken the 500 pcb limit.

But i hope pcb number 500 will be Raiden IV.
