KD has to be the most overrated game ever, seriously. Crappy camera, way too easy.

But hey, now with this and Meteos, there's two whole reasons to get a DS!

Meh, it's main supporters on this forum at least seem to be perpetuators of the whole 'I hate Sony' nonsense. I'm not buying one until it has impressive software.

Meteos is worth owning a DS for.

And a shameless plug for the stuff I'm selling on eBay, if you're into that sort of thing.

I agree on Katamari, I did not like that game one bit. Don't really care about it or Xenosaga being on the DS.

As for it and Meteos being the sole reasons to own a DS, um, no:
Meteos
Pac Pix (just ask Brian)
Pac'n'Roll
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Secret of Mana
New Super Mario Bros.
Kirby's Magic Paintbrush
Castlevania DS
Advance Wars DS
Nanostray
Moonlight Fables
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Another Code 2 Memory
Polarium
Sonic DS (maybe... who knows)
Electroplankton (if you're into that kinda stuff)
Nintendogs (ditto)
Egg Monster Heroes
Full Metal Alchemist DS
Mario Kart DS
Animal Crossing DS (online)
Bomberman DS
Space Invaders Revolution
Bubble Bobble Revolution
Legend of Zelda DS
Jump Superstars
Jam With the Band
Super Princess Peach
Viewtiful Joe DS

Yeah, there's only TWO reasons to own a DS though. And I didn't even mention the handful of fun games already on it (Wario Ware Touched, SMB64DS, Feel the Magic, Yoshi's TnG, Zoo Keeper, Mr. Driller, etc.).

Now quit being a silly twat and go play 1 of the 15 EA sports titles on the PSP.

Katamari Damacy's the shit, I still play that game from time to time, if only for the music.

Too easy? Have you tried getting all the presents?

I think the second screen should be used for a map..I'd be interested in checking everything out.

Comes down to personal preference I guess. None of it really interests me besides possibly meteos and space invaders. Bomberman's fun...but it's likely to be more of the same old and it's on what, a dozen systems?

I don't care about PSP at this point either. But I don't hate it and that means I'm not going to buy a DS and advocate it to the point of silliness...there are too many excellent games on the consoles I already have.

Um, sure this isn't an April Fool's joke? I just ran a few searches on Google and Nintendo's website and there was no mention of it other than the NP quote. Of course, maybe it just hasn't been updated.

Still, if it was true, I'd get it in .00005 seconds. No exaggeration.

I concur on this point, but simply because the premise is incredibly, incredibly boring. Playing Katamari Damacy is about as fun as picking up trash or vacuuming the carpet for me.

Every time there's a list you always find fault with it. ;) Like you said, it's personal preferance. But, yeah, most of the games haven't even been reviewed yet, though a good number of them sound promising to me. Also, the press isn't usually too kind with Kirby games, though they were kinder than usual with Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (one of my favorite GBA games). I'm especially looking forward too the DS Kirby, Meteos, and Pac Pix. Neon, you have some odd tastes. That's fine, just keep in mind that others don't share your tastes.

Also, some of the GB Bomberman games have features that aren't in any other Bomberman game like two paths with different missions in Bomberman GB US/Bomberman GB 2 Japan and being able to choose power ups before the levels in Atomic Punk Game A/Bomber Boy.

None of the two current portable system games can really warrant a system purchase for me. But honestly speaking, I may get a DS during Christmas if Nintendo drops the price to 100. I am in need of having a GBA to play some of the games I've been piling up and for playing Castlevania DS. As for the PSP, I advocate the decision of Sony to make it powerful, but it doesn't have much either. Maybe, I'll change my mind when I see in person. My friend is picking up one. Whohohoho.

My office which has a wireless access point right next door will soon be a handheld heaven for online DS and PSP gaming. Oh man....

Animal Crossing DS which is confirmed now to have an online wi fi mode should be a killer app. And I've never even played Animal Crossing, now I wanna buy a copy for GC and learn about building villages and illaging other people's items. whoo

Has it been confirmed Mario Kart DS will be online (oh man, am I drooling if it is) ? I know Iwata showed off its wi fi mode at the GDC but the demo was with 8 people in the audience so I'm a little confused as to whether or not that was to announce 'Yep, it's online, here is the wif fi mode" or just to mean "At least you don't have to hook up link cables anymore with portable Mario Kart." :?

One thing that is great, DS online will be FREE. Now if only the next Bomberman DS is online.

The Lost in Blue trailer was awesome. An emotional adventure/mystery game where you have to survive on an island with a girl? Sounds very cool and atmospheric.

Yeah, that's a good point. Well, I think it's safe to get excited. I only played the first KD once at a friends house, but I was very impressed. And the score is one of the best ever, I have a CD of the rip (released before the official OST) and I've listened to it a ton.

Just saw Baten Kaitos on that release list, anyone else play the GCN version? I loved it, so a DS version makes me smile.

I was talking to Neon bro. ;)

Oh, and Neon:

Yes, Bomberman DS is the exact same thing, because God knows every other version of Bomberman has been portable and has allowed wireless multiplay for up to 8 people.

A laptop and a decent emulator will give you most any of the bomberman's online and portable.

Heh, I'd prefer a keyboard to that dpad anyways :P
