Cave will be offering Mushihime-sama Futari Limited T-Shirts at the AM Show next month. They don't flat out say it, but it's eluded to some type of raffle. For those that can't make the show, but are members of Geesen Yokocho, there will also be some other sort of method of attaining these shirts.
There are also some comments and a staff interview in the latest arcadia.

For it to be a ten digit score in Original, I'm thinking that its a mistake of the screenshot and the scores will be closer to Mushi 1's regular scores (tens of millions), or that there's some kind of residual multiplier added to the chain counter, like Ibara Kuro and the Galudas.
Either that or the same score system (from Mushi Futari's Maniac Mode) is applied across all Modes, with just bullet count changed to fit.

This site has a very clear scan of the original picture first posted:
http://www.am-j.co.jp/newmachine/200609/001.html
Other details revealed:
-the 3 'powers' in the original game are no longer here (m-,w-, and s-power). Instead, you just choose one of the two characters to get a different shot type (i.e. Reco has one type, and the Palm guy has the other type).
-the game will have 3 buttons as before, presumably shot, bomb, and fullauto.
-it seems fairly confirmed now it will indeed debut at the end of October.
-every stage will have a totally different 'world view', in other words they will each be quite different (unlike the first game, where the 1st and 5th stages were very similar environments).

Went to HEY this afternoon and got to try out the game. The line was obnoxiously long so I only got to put in one credit, but I watched it for a long while so here are some impressions:
- Original and Maniac were selectable with the two characters and two different shot types for each (normal and "abnormal")
-The music, especially the boss theme, kicked ass.
-The graphics were also pretty incredible. The first boss is a t-rex (the one in the Arcadia scan that folks thought was a dragon) and it chases you down a mountain as you do battle. As it starts to die, you blow off the skin from its face, knocking its eyes out and exposing the brain underneath. The mid-boss of the first level was a pteradactyl and looked pretty sharp. The second boss was an incredible sea monster with tons of animating tendrils and shit. Lots of varied enemies in the game, triceratops', potato bugs, dragons with flame wings, etc. Cool environments too, the second stage was a snow level.
-Original played basically the same, but maniac was slightly altered. No more banking chains, just accumulating gold like in original. There was a meter like in DDP, but even when it dropped you didn't lose the chain.
-The second character was pretty neat. He's got a strong shot but is pretty slow.
-The difficulty was kicked up quite a bit. No one in the two hours I was there was able to clear the stage 3 boss.
-In the high score table, it indicates if you died at the boss, not just what level.
-No extends or even extra bombs were offered.
Overall, I was really pleased. Much cooler than the first and a lot of fun, I wish I could have played more of it. I'll be looking forward to its official release next month.

You were expecting direct-feed quality video from a location-test sniper-cam?sven666 wrote:cool, altho it mostly reminds me that youtube sucks ass for watching anything but 80s musicvideos![]()
no-one cleared stage 3now THATS hardcore!!
Looks good, I like the way the first boss smashes through the wall and chases you. Looks like it has the counter-based scoring system as well.

I bet that meter isn't related to the actual chain, but some sort of scoring modifier, a meter-based multiplier of some sort.NTSC-J wrote:-Original played basically the same, but maniac was slightly altered.
