What are the best MAME settings for Dimahoo?

For D,
Since I use Mame32, I just use these settings:
Tate screen with 25% scanlines (for that raster scan look).
Tried with an LCD-based type monitor and it really doesn't look as good as if it was played on a CRT-based analog PC monitor.
Although playing Dimahoo with the CPS2psp test version 3 emulator on a firmware 1.50 based PSP works like a charm with these settings:
Raster - set to "on"
Video Sync - set to "off"
Audio - set to 44100 kHz
I found out that this CPS2psp test version 3 emu DOES, indeed, support "Tate" mode besides it's earlier released CPS2psp version 2 emu counterpart. ^_~

great timing on this topic.
i was wondering the same thing in general about all of the arcade shmups i play on MAME32. i was searching through the options last night and wondered if there were general rules about what settings looked and performed better for arcade games.
there must be a topic about this somewhere on on of those mame forums.
any other tips or links would be great (Elvis? )
