For neorichieb1971,

Ask oxtsu as he did my Agetech joystick mod and it is a real beauty to play with Seimitsu joystick & buttons setup. Of course, if you want to go with Sanwa joystick & push button setup, that's ace in my book. IMO, going with either Sanwa or Seimitsu setup is the best way to play shmups over the stock Agetech joystick & push button setup. ^_~

Agetec is an easy mod.

There's a tutorial. There's another one out there somewhere, but I couldn't find it in the 5 minutes putting together this post. If you're not comfortable doing it, or don't have the resources, asking someone like oxtsu would be a good idea. He probably has parts already and since he gets them directly from Japan through his group orders, you probably won't have to pay that much for them.

I've done a number of mods and build my own sticks so it wouldn't be a problem to do it, but I think oxtsu would have a better price for you because I would have to buy parts from my supplier. Good luck!

I'm sure Oxstu has read this thread . He is actually quite near to me so shipping shouldn't be much. I can even buy extra parts at the same time 8)

I'll PM him when I get the stick, it won't arrive for a few more days.

I'm guessing it would be best to put a PS PCB inside as well and use a TC+ for Dreamcast? Making it more flexible.

I have an Agetech which has a Sanwa mod in it, for sale, if you want. It was my first work, and not the best. I used electrical tape as I didn't have anything to melt the wires. That can be easily remedied though.

I was asking $60 for it, but might let it go a bit cheaper.

Probably would have taken it if I had not already bought one.

I'd prefer an LS-32 though. Someone else might want it.

I've only modified the stick and left the buttons on my agetec.
I'm sure you could do this yourself as it only needs the wires to be soldered together and some platic from the case being removed. It's not hard at all.
