RQ: quick, espgaluda 2 1up?

how do i get it?

looked at the replay vid and it looks like he does normal kakusei on the flowerbed just before the 3rd boss.. when i try i just shoot air.
tried super-kakusei too, no luck???

From GaijinPunch's ST:

1-UP item: This is a multi-step process:
-Destroy all the parts on the Stage 3 mid-boss (3 on the left, 3 on the right)
-Don't use your barrier (including auto) from the mid-boss until the life item
-At the very end of the stage, as you get the energy replenishing item, there's a spot on the left with two brownshaped cones. One is slightly to the left and up from the other. Shoot this area in Zesshikai mode for a 1-up item.

ah i couldnt find it, thanx. thread may be locked or tossed..

its ok to die btw, youll still get the 1up, just dont use any barrier..

Sry I missed this. This is indeed, one of the most painful 1-up items, due to the conditions being stretched out over half the stage. There's some strategy involved for non-pro players in depleting your entire barrier before the midboss. Then if you get hit in zesshikai or kakusei mode, you just die, instead of losing your barrier.
