Announcing kiban.alamone.net - PCB price tracker

Post by alamone »

Announcing kiban.alamone.net, a free, non-commercial price-history reference for used arcade PCBs.

It continuously gathers prices from public auction (Yahoo! Auctions JP) and shop listings, plus the Internet Archive for older data, and charts each board's price over time — keeping asking and realized (sold) prices separate. Bilingual (English/日本語), with search, maker/genre/year browse, currency conversion, and optional accounts to sync your favorites. No ads, no trackers.

I'm planning to expand each game's page into a broader info hub: high scores (built on the Gamest/Arcadia/JHA lineage), mod / repair notes, DIP settings and instruction-card links, how to tell originals from bootlegs, high-quality close-up PCB photos, and more.

This is a really cool thing to make and resource to share, even as a non-pcb collector (though I have buddies who do). I will be sure to pass this link on. For just the historical value alone I think it's worth the effort. Nice job man!
