The developer indicated previously that another patch should be coming this month, and the PSN sale runs until July 2 (in the US at least). Hopefully we can assess how the next patch effects lag (if it even touches that) and take advantage of the sale if there's an improvement.

I'm enjoying this to be honest (Switch physical, playing it docked with the wired Hori mini stick). I've tinkered with these games before using shmupMAME as well but I'm not at the level where I can tell the difference - maybe I never will. These aren't easy games. But they are so much fun.

I have set the game speed to 54Hz as per the info here.

I concur that it's pretty okay now, as long as you don't have anything to compare it with. But spend a day or two on Remix and then try Aces immediately after and you'll notice how much easier everything gets.

A frame or two less of input latency and I'd happily recommend this collection.

PS5, VRR always on incl. TV, 54fps option marked, still my LG OLED TV shows 59fps. Is it somehow possible to play with 54fps? Speed seems correct, but with little stutter.

whats the best game andnship of this compilation to get started on? reminds me of pskyo strikers overall, not sure how i feel about the soundtrack lol, i quite dig the game visuals, for the price not gonna complain too much, seems a decent amount of content.

Picked it up on PS5. Seems fine to me, but I am a filthy casual.

How's Aces look on 360 through CRT? Might try and snag a copy.

Aces in 360 looks ace! I had a 21" pc crt monitor in my desktop and it looked gorgeous through VGA cable at 640x480 (maybe also 1280x960? I don't remember).
Furthermore the game has multiple filters to give 240p effect if you are used to scanlines
