I haven't done much testing, but a Gen2 with a 3BP+ looked pretty good on my consumer Trinitron.

Does the Time Harvest 15kHz to S-Video Box come with a proper A/C adapter as well?

It runs off of USB power (USB-B), I think it came with a cable.
