How to Practice Shooting Games in 2026

I've always struggled with practicing shooting games. I've researched and talked to a few people and gotten some good ideas, but I'd like more opinions and other things as well. A quick search using CTRL+F on the Strategy Index doesn't yield any results for "Practice" or "Train" (although there is one result for "Gunbird training"), so I thought I should create a thread on this topic.

I feel now is a good time to ask, although it would have been better to ask sooner, as I'm a bit confused about how to approach a game like ESPGaluda 2. As everyone can see, it's quite complex, and I'm not sure if I should spend loose change in Arcade/360 mode, top up until the end of each level, replay an entire level in practice mode multiple times before moving on to another, or replay that level repeatedly in practice mode, etc.

I also don't know if playing just to score points from the start is a good idea, or if I should focus on strategy to progress further in the game before worrying about how/when/why to use Kakusei/Zetsushikai/Over and how I might constantly make mistakes in Zetsushikai (e.g., should I fully familiarize myself with the mode and how to handle it before moving on to specific situations, or simply learn each specific situation for each chosen strategy), etc.

I hope this thread will lead to some helpful answers. Discussion and skill improvement among more players. The more competitive the leaderboard, the more fun the game. I want to avoid feeling discouraged with this game, as I quite enjoy it, before posting my score.
