I need to make some kind of copypasta for this kind of thread, but basically, you want your original post to include way more details like this one. Try to jog your memory and include more stuff!

In order to help figure out what game it is, please provide as many details as you can remember even if they seem trivial. This includes things like:

• Approximate year you played it
• What kind of characters are in it
• What shot types, do they power up, what kinds of bombs there are, what they looked like
• If the game is vertical or horizontal, did it have a border if it was vertical
• How many stages
• Any distinctive enemies or bosses you can remember

And so on.

For now at least, I can only think of Leiria Stargazer though it's not exactly the most lovey-dovey kind of embrace haha.

Hah, it's not a bad guess, but if it is Leiria there's so much more distinctive stuff like "it was a Doujin in space that played like Espgaluda" that would instantly scream Leiria. Will be interesting to see if this is it!
