Ah ok, whats wrong with the sound?

Yeah, I wanted to do the bomb spam tactic but you need three to geht it safe and the first part of the Asteroid Satallite is very hard without a bomb. But I will try the 2nd loop clear later or at least a better score for the Truxton leaderboard.

But I think so too,that its the hardest parts of 2nd loop and beyond.

So many things... check out mycophobia's 10,000,000 replay from a few pages ago. That's what it's supposed to sound like, and that's what it sounds like on PCB. The sound emulation on the new rerelease is extremely poor.

Recovery there isn't bad if you have a good route. I'd have to play with it a bit since it's been a while, but I generally start on the left and move to the right and then go back and forth dodging as needed. It's one of the more annoying spots to recover at, but it's definitely possible to do it without bombing.

Oh man, you're right, it sounds so ass, what have they done? While playing, I was mostly too focused or played it with very low volume anyway. Man this sucks. But I don't want to buy a PS version of the whole collection to make videos with normal sound -.- (or is it the same on PS?)

I guarantee it sounds the same on every version that Bitwave touched, and most of the other games are just as bad as this one. If you want Toaplan games to not sound like they are broken, you'll have to play them some other way because Bitwave isn't going to fix these.

At least I am past the 2nd Loop 1st boss (and even the 2nd one) but its not that easy getting back in the game without the right weapon and power, some sections cause quick popcorn enemie deaths and life after life it goes. The section before the 1st boss kept quite difficult and it feels that a bit luck is required. At least my score puts me on top of the single loopers

This time I killed the 3rd boss in the 2nd loop. I was powerd up the section before the 3rd boos and got hit by one of the round green enemies... very sad. In one of my attempts before, I got hit by the same one on first loop. Its kinda surprising, that he fires so fast. He got be both times after killing him and on my way back to the center there was his bullet on my way
