Surprised nobody has posted about this yet. Unico has announced a custom Nova Blast cab with Raiden collection for Q1 of next year. Comes with Raiden, Raiden II, Raiden DX, the entire Raiden Fighters trilogy, and an unannounced mystery game.

The joysticks & push buttons can be upgraded to either Sanwa Denshi or Seimitsu parts if it needed be -- that's not hard to do so -- it means spending a bit more, of course. How much lag does the included LCD monitor have (like with the earlier Unico Nova Blast candy cab release)?

This particular Raiden Nova Blast candy cab's monitor doesn't rotate and is locked in tate for good.

A pity as raiden is really a decent series of Shmups that stand up well. The only PCB that I own in the series is Fighters sadly. But I have raiden Shmups on many formats thankfully.

We used to. Then we grew up and found out we were causing a lot of pointless suicides and general misery in one out of every 20 people who hadn't actually done anything to anyone so we stopped. It was pretty easy too, turned out there was mountains of wittier potential comments to switch over to just sitting there the whole time...

Speaking from my own experience, those who tell others to "man up" and "get over it" when they say something objectionable and get criticized, no matter how mildly, are the very first ones to not only scream and cry but demand state-sanctioned vengeance if somebody else calls them a name they don't like.

Moreover, I'd posit that "real men" are willing to get over themselves and make minuscule adjustments to their conduct in order to help others, especially historically marginalized types, feel a tiny bit more at ease living their lives; spoiled little boys are the ones who throw a fit and insist that every callout aimed at them is oppression.

I'm gonna buy one of these now and mod it so it only plays Cho Aniki games.

As for Rayden, it's a pretty good series, though not quite as good as the Toaplan shumps that it draws inspiration from. Properly learning II (which I feel is superior to DX) has been on my bucket list for a while; perhaps it's finally time to have a go at it.

I live in one of the most lefty cities in Europe and after some time it is nearly impossible to take them seriously.

I shall tell you a story though:
