The 2025 California Extreme show will held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on July 19th and 20th (right next door to the Hyatt Regency hotel). Expect the usual vendors like Marco Specialaties with their latest and newest Stern pinball games out on the huge gameroom floor. This will be the 27th CAX event hosted as it wasn't hosted back in the Summer of 2020 as the country was under "Covid-19" lockdown anyways.

CAX was a blast as always, shoutout to the guy that brought Thunder Dragon 2, that was my go-to game all weekend, and it was sick talking about the board (And finding out it had autofire installed mid-run when my hands were just about to give up, that was a life saver!)

Hi, I'm the guy who brought that TD2 board (though the cab was a friend's, he deserves the credit for bringing the heavy stuff!). I was really happy to see someone who clearly knew how to play, the last board I brought was Psycho-Nics Oscar and people seemed absolutely baffled by that game's power-up system. There was basically always someone playing TD2 every time I passed by, it was really heartening to see! Nice chatting with you and I hope to see you again next year!

Was great chatting with you as well! It was great to see TD2 active pretty much all weekend. I remember a little kid coming up and jumping on player 2, and I offered his brother my spot and just got to see em both blasting away, it was great.

I remember playing Psycho-Nics either last year or the year before, had never seen the game prior and thought it was great, and its been in my mame rotation since!
