Great looking detailed graphics on display; I really like this style! The designs of the different vehicles look cool and distinct. Gameplay looks sufficiently intense too.
I'm rather curious how you're achieving the visuals for the giant quadruped walker boss shown toward the end of the video trailer; most of your graphics appear composed of detailed 2D elements (perhaps pre-rendered), but the walker boss moves smoothly and casts shadows as if it is a realtime 3D rig. Its design and animation looks good however you're doing it, though a bit noticeably different from the other visuals.
The visual feedback from shooting large enemies looks good and easy to subconsciously see. I like the small trail effect that the blue focus laser leaves when you strafe horizontally (middle screenshot). Enemy explosions look satisfying too, though I'd suggest experimenting with adding some additional small spinning debris too.
I think that the bright white enemy bullets stand out very well, though maybe could benefit from some animation and/or color variance down the line. Also I think that you should try adding some muzzle flashes for when enemies shoot at some point, but I'm nitpicking an unfinished development build here. From what is shown your project looks very competent and polished overall – I’d be interested to know what game engine you're using.

Artstyle reminds me of Blue Wish and the other games by that dev.
I wouldn't have immediately noticed this myself but you're right on; The art does look a bit alike X.X titles and using those games as an inspiration/design reference is quite fine by me.
Again, impressive visuals here and a solid looking project overall. Easy wishlist and would def want to playtest a demo when available.
