WIP - Gunner Blade (Action-Shooting Helicopter Game)
I was only about young adulthood and i started working on the 'very first' indie game project for contribution work Crayware's Shmups DEV Studios, My project title unofficial Gradius fangame title 'Gunner Blade' is the named from my good idea meant Action-Shooting Helicopter Game, Side-scrolling horizonal shooting game, I've been using with the game engine classic Game Maker 8.0 Pro Engine creating the customized Gradius GM engine, With the basic game design and beginner skills experiment of the indie game.
The game features with the first appearance debuted character Fahsai and her partner (Miku and Teto Mesmerizer), Who were hearing and listening Mesmerizer catchy song from previous a few months ago, Graphics made with the retro aspect pixel art, black line unique details, art style ChannelCastStation (The animator creation from Vocaloid fandom), Main-player can choose with the three type of helicopter scenario go through Set Course 3 only via 10 scenes, Power-up items supplies, Weapons selection, Many enemies and bosses, Stage design will go difficult and tricky challenging, Fast-paced action pack and much more.
In-game development of prototype Gunner Blade, Work in progressing owner only for private, I've been working on the Gunner Blade stage design, Some faces with the adjustment graphics doesn't fit in the effects and functional, The alpha version will be public there at the Thanksgiving 2024.

In terms of sprite design you got the idea, but judging by the size of the screen, it looks a little big making it an easy target.

I reduced the enemy ship sprites of 'enemyship_mark1' forms of the prototype, The size one of the small than large, Admitted i take painting digital art on the production design stage.

Second enemy ship appears in the prototype, After the testing with the object functional can move floating down, Shoot the projectiles come out from the front on it, And then it flew away like booster.
Main-player doesn't have hitbox and it only hit the entire of helicopter instead and not yet been fully works object.
Took me about hours and minutes working on this project.

It's been about a short days spend few hours and minutes after the build size of enemy ship sprites, Many object have basic functional movement with firing projectiles, Does a large amount of enemy ship can make easily target sight, I think the enemy ship have a health system with damage range from the player-ship must be strong firepower, Many enemies been added and small red one booster can go faster, If the enemy ship loaded booster before goes away, Designed with the enemy ship path move and bullet firing part.
This weekdays worked on the game development period, Until i'll might have shorter break weekend about 2-days, Before i resuming back on tracks.

It's been about few days and recently weeks, Since i attempting with the object functional does player get hit by a enemy bullet and respawning shield, Power-up meter system, Gameplay mechanism, But one of things that found out it was bugs and doesn't fit works for the object functional controller and power-up meter, A few minor bugs of game design, Doesn't work for the basic variants object, Until i'll tries to switching object movement and shifting code into the power-up meter or possibly given try that programming render gameplay mechanism.
It felt hard-time working here with the prototype build during the each weekdays and off from the quarters days, Here is the prototype footage and you will find that bugs and not working objects.
Let me know about suggestions how to do make work with object functional.

Short weekdays break update, Admitted away from the computer, Long tripping cycling day, And then this happened about last Friday that the internet connection went cut and off the signal was bitten by the squirrels, At least the internet is now recovery and backing up online, I've been resuming on the game-development today, Also there is still progressing with the scene, enemies ship design, adjustment reducing sprites, object functional, Debug mode contribution (Via owner and small team only) and much more.

It's been like a few weekdays and month later, Gunner Blade features with the amazingly explosion effects, The debris pieces flew around and small exploded after being shot the enemy ships, Earlier build enemies ship having a pathway movement behaviors, Various things new sprites sizes than the large one from previous build.
A new loading animation screen with the yellow one of helicopter (ParvizLink gave me idea) only seen with the prototype build and past the alpha version.
Among with the scrolling coins but non-dropping coins, Resembles like Vanguard Ace and Raiden Tred for SNES.
The prototype version build might be more pathway behaviors of enemies ship and obstacles can be make the ground attack themes were development in the Gunner Blade.

Long awaited with the new update, Things they had to be wanted more sprites, objects, details, scene design and everything has a changed.

It's been about two months and few weeks after the initial game development began as an Action-Shooting Helicopter Game from childhood idea and concept of Gunner Blade.
The first alpha version public test will be there release till next week, I'm currently with the constructed itch.io, Gamejolt, ModDB, Personal and James Software Co. website been decorated with 'The Mesmerizer' theme, And i have seen that Mesmerizer Music Video is now 100 million views hits became a wide-spread popular hits of Vocaloid Catchy song.
It's takes a short development time period of Gunner Blade, Private Prototype Build has been finished, With the graphics, special effect animation, level design, details, gameplay style and more detailing of the Gunner Blade game project is the earlier alpha version build on the contribution work project, When Crayware got like interest to our of videos, Hopefully i'll get there finished these files as possible.

Heya user, It's been about few months after, Since where i was been inactive post this indie game development project works, I've been resuming on the game development of Action-Shooting Helicopter game stuff might have really cool stuff tho.
There is an production design and story artist in it, Also i fixed the score points system and the counter score points went through ongoing further from the previously first one, Since i've been fixed and made this new one, But there is a lot of changes and improvement gameplay design this today or tonight.

I'm just done stuff from the making these impressive graphics, Alpha version development test, I tested with the 2D parallax sprites moving like 3D effects, I've been created the helicopter and one of my friends ParvizLink wanted to Yellow Helicopter pilot in Secret Set Course 01.

Testing with the Full Set Course 1, Three of those helicopters, Cool firepower on, After being checked from the functional works of the helicopter player.
This is not multi-player gameplay, It's shown with the main-player controlling through with two of those pilot helicopters, I've been pitching and revision functional works for the fully comprises of helicopter players.
