Do XBOX360 shmups sell at high prices?
Do XBOX360 shmups sell at high prices?
I wanted to get rid of all my XBOX360 and PS3 games and I have seen that some of them, specifically CAVE games, are sold at quite high prices for instance on eBay. So you have an idea what good be a good price for games such as Dodonpachi Daioujou, ESPGaluda 2 Black Label, Muchi Muchi Pork + Pink Sweets, Mushihimesama Futari 1.5, all Japanese editions and others such as Under Defeat HD, Caladrius Blaze (PS3). All are in mint condition.

A good bet is to check completed listings on EBay (not just what people are hoping to get). Many are quite valuable, especially the limited edition paper box Cave titles.
Formerly known as 8 1/2. I return on my second credit!

Good idea. Thank you.
The most expensive game I have is Muchi Muchi Pork + Pink Sweets, which has been sold for more than $200. That's more than expect to get for both the XBOX 360 and the PS3 together!

Even Cave's Limited Edition and Super Limited Edition variants (with plenty of DDP-SDOJ related extra swag included) of 360 DoDonpachi Sai-Dai-Ou-Jou fetch lots of $$$, especially if brand new and sealed condition since it's general release at retail back in 2013 (a bit of time after the Cave SH3 arcade pcb kits that sold at $2,400 usd back in 2012-2014 timeline). Heck, even Cave's 360 Standard Edition version of DDP-SDOJ sells for some serious money as well -- it's expected as usual nowadays.

I recently sold SDOJ for €115 and Espgaluda II BL for €90 and I think both of those prices were more on the lower end of the spectrum.

Probably the most expensive 360 shmup is the otomedius gorgeous bundle that comes with both the game and the special arcade stick made specifically for it, but can be used for other shmups because that stick comes with some pretty good stock parts. That thing’s going to come close to $1K if you still have all the boxes for it which I don’t have anymore
That Japanese version of otomedius excellent is also bizarrely expensive for almost no reason.

I thought the most expensive was NTSC-J Raiden Fighters Aces, at least for regular editions.

Sakura Flamingo Archives continues on its way to achieving escape velocity.

I think I am going to keep my XBOX 360 for the moment, as well as their games, and start by selling my PS3 Super Slim with all the games I have, excluding Caladrius Blaze and Initial D Extreme Stage, which I will try to sell separatelly, as they seem to be the most expensive of my collection. Apart from that I will sell my Move controllers with the guns adaptors together with a few shooting games I have (they were really fun to play in the past but I no longer play them because shooting games in VR are much better).
Re: Do XBOX360 shmups sell at high prices?
Glad I grabbed that while ago. I have a full set of Japanese Xbox 360 shmups and would never consider selling my collection.
A Hardcore gamers reaction to the Lack of Kinect games. Apparently i could of played Dodonpachi with it if i beat a entirely in Japanese Visual Novel piece of shit game called Instant Brain

On a related 360 related matter, is it possible to d/l previously owned 360 based stg titles such as "Prismatic Solid" from one console to another different 360 console? I see that the Microsoft 360 Marketplace isn't around nowadays since it's July 2024 demise.
I also recall Major Nelson mentioning about the 360 console supporting up to a 1gb external hdd setup back in 2013 or 2014, is that still possible in 2025?
And is it possible make a USA region 360 console be able to run/play JPN region 360 game discs?

You can move it from one console to the other using a USB stick that is properly formatted (you can format it using the XBox 360). I did this with Outrun 2 that I had on my NTSC-J console living in my EGRET II that I needed on a PAL console I had hooked up to my 65" OLED.PC Engine Fan X! wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 6:39 pm On a related 360 related matter, is it possible to d/l previously owned 360 based stg titles such as "Prismatic Solid" from one console to another different 360 console? You should look into picking up a RGH modded console.PC Engine Fan X! wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 6:39 pm And is it possible make a USA region 360 console be able to run/play JPN region 360 game discs?
