Super Famicom Jr. CSYNC DC offset

Post by MaRCer »

I restored RGB and CSYNC on my Super Famicom Jr. using this mod https://github.com/TzorriMahm/SNES_RGB_Bypass_Amp. Judging by the instructions, there is no need to modify anything on the board on the SNES mini/SFC Jr., and a 470 ohm resistor is needed in the cable on CSYNC. But neither GBS Control nor my LCD TV perceive synchronization and start working normally only if you add a 220 uf capacitor to CSYNC. It turns out that my console outputs CSYNC with DC offset, which needs to be eliminated - but I didn't find this on the Internet from Super Famicom - do I have some kind of unique version?

No, you don't need a Dejitter for GBS Control. I repeat, my Super Famicom Jr. after the mod outputs CSYNC with DC offset as on Sega Mega Drive, although it should not. I want to understand why this is so.
