NB you may not be able to extract the audio because it seems to go into DVI mode which means you have to use the A/V or optical out for audio. This may be a result of my EDID minder since it’s DVI only.

You can output 640x480 via the hdmi port but your sink needs to send the right EDID data. I use a EDID minder with mine and these are the available resolutions.

If using either the official Microsoft 360 VGA cable or the Monster Game 360 VGA cable, what's the highest resolution they can output? Can they both output in 1080p as well?

Never had an issue outputting 1080p via official VGA Cables
