Extron 109xi no power help

Hi everyone,

I picked up a bundle of Extron stuff, but specifically for these interfaces. I have a JVC DTV 1710cg and I was intending to use one of these to process the signal to make it play a little nicer with my consoles.

The bundle came with two of these - but for the life of me I can't get either of them working. As there is no "on" switch I can locate I assume they just boot up as soon as they're connected to mains, but I can't see anything at a all on the LCD display and so far I've gotten absolutely nowhere trying to run a signal through them.

Are the power supplies just borked or am I missing something really obvious?

Power supplies are likely bad. They should display a 0 Hz reading if you plug it in with no VGA input.

Check the PSU caps. Mine had two bad caps and powered on fine after they were changed. I forget the values but they were the two smallest size ones.

I've had a couple Extron devices from that time period have failing caps in the PSU as well
