For those not following us on https://twitter.com/fullset_collect, I'm happy to announce that work on the game has been completed, and we've entered the PCB production phase.

what's the scoring system like? is it chaining kills + picking up coins and then boss milking the individual parts?

Looks like Mega Drive port of a Master System game, you know, similar to Super Mario Allstars...

Yes, it does today! But, we'll likely have an even better solution than that, which would also make this work for AES. And no, it's not a memory card, that we use exclusively for stage progression saving

I indeed played a lot of Dogyuun & Batsugun back in 2019 when I started work on the prototype. Followed by ChoRenSha, ESP Ra. De., Batrider, and Garegga... so you'll likely notice a few references/homages paid to a couple more games across visuals, mechanics and/or enemies

We certainly kept the Neo Geo CD in mind during development. There are a few special considerations, though, so we'll look at things again a bit further down the road.

I was ready to pull the trigger since I’m looking for a new game to play on the cab, but I think I’m gonna hold off and hear impressions first

I preordered several years ago for AES, so I'll definitely give impressions once I get my copy.

I also have already preordered (recently) and am very keen to hear the soundtrack…but at the same time I have no TATE capabilities and Neo XYX kinda sucks in YOKO faux tate.
Used to put my 29 Sony Trinitron on the its side but once that killed the TV I never dared to do it again with its replacement. Those things are getting kinda hard to find….
