Was wondering if there happens to be a compilation of player vs player Shmups. For example, 2600 Combat, 2600 Air-sea Battle, Galactic Battleground, Artillery Dual, Twinkle Star Sprites, etc?

If not, mind sharing some of your favs?

I'm drawing a blank beyond the Senko No Ronde series. It's a rare beast to be sure.

My faves are:

Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream
Change Air Blade
Phantasmagoria of Flower View

These are all split screen games, same vein as Twinkle Star Sprites, but newer and with more polish imo.

not a vs shmup but if you're playing coop In The Hunt's ending forces you to duke it out against your friend at the end

There is the Twinkle Star Sprites compilation on PS2, but that's about it.

For TSS-likes, Rival Megagun, and the obscure Spark And Sparkle.
For Senko no Ronde-likes, Maiden & Spell and Acceleration of Suguri.
