3DO ODEs

Post by strygo »

I’ve been happy with my 3DO MNEMO ODE for quite some time. I am interested in the XPort due to its ability to retain a functioning disc drive. Does anyone have one? Are you happy with it? It’s got a large price tag and I haven’t seen any thorough reviews of it. The various RetroRGB announcement posts don’t flag any issues, but they are relatively high level. Thanks!

I have the internal FZ1 version so can’t tell you about the built in memory manager in the X-Port version but the ODE side works really well. It’s easy to use and improves loading times over the original disc drive.
There’s an offer on the store at the moment with 14% off using the code LOVE3DO. This offer expires on Saturday.

Thanks for sharing. This is a significant discount on the unit, so I decided to pick one up. I'll share my experiences with the external unit once I receive it.
