TRASHFALL FINAL II (PART IV)
KID UNFRIENDLY GARBAGE
The Trash-Swarm never rests.
Webnetic is back at it again. Not with another press and hold or a "factory" like game, but with another of their "Educational" games.
Can we say "Blood" or "Bydogen"?
Rainbow is a game about guessing colors. To begin with there's two modes: Kids Mode and Normal Mode. Kids Mode is the easy game, where you have to guess the color but you have hint of the color names are written in their respective colors (Ex: RED - GREEN). Guessing correctly will send you to the next color to guess. There's no "Time limit" or a total of colors to guess. Thus, the game goes on and on until you quit.
Kids will prefer to learn colors with the CD cover of Metallica's "Ride The Lightning" than this.
Normal Mode is the same game, with the only difference that the color names are in gray, making guessing more difficult, and throws new colors that didn't appeared on Kids Mode like Turquoise and Olive in an attempt to increase the chance of errors. Speaking of errors, answering with the wrong choice is required to obtain 3 thropies. That's right, you have to fail 25 times on purpose to obtain trophies. That goes against the concept of an educational game where the objective is to learn and guess correctly.
Audiovisually, is immature and childish. I've saw better color splotches on the Bob Ross show, here the colors look like mustard, blood and Slime/Ecto-Plazm on the tray, the music is annoying as hell. Tries to be kid friendly, but is horrendous and idiotic. Even Mario Paint is infinitely better than this.
We've better leave without saying a word, Nina.
Shizuka might go berserk on any moment.
There's nothing happy on Rainbow, not even trophies are the justification for this garbage. I'm sure little kids will prefer to guess colors playing Raiden or Megaman II than this and with all possible reasons, because this is an insult to educational games and a reason why this genre should be six feet under since the death of DOS computers.
Mental Sanity was "Emilienated" after playing this game.
