Sweet Child O Mine

After ACA Arcade release of XX Mission last year I could hear a striking similarity between XX Mission tune and Guns ‘N Roses song “Sweet Child of Mine” especially with Slash’s first solo.

To my ears same or very similar progression/notes and same effing key!!

They do share similarities, but not to the level of, say Ken's theme and Top Gun theme. Many 90s 16 bits tunes share similar arrangements.

(Guns was a BIG deal in the 90s, a BIG deal )

Yeah it defiantly pays "homage" stuff like this always puts me in mind of DDP's old theme tune in WCW ripping off Nirvana Smells like Teen Spirit.

A moderately generic (rock) chord progression, however Meters version although much slower is almost certainly the source for Blazing Star first boss triumph tune @ ~ 4:16.

Again very close in key/pitch.
