Cool, looking forward to seeing how Mushi and DFK compare to the Steam ports. And it'll be nice to have Espgaluda 2 available on another platform!

Mushi I'll get and DFK I'll get if it includes BL Arrange which I strongly assume it does, though Galuda II I'll skip since it's looking to be the exact same thing as the X360 version I already have.
My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself

Not a terrible thing. Would have preferred to see the other PS4's M2 ports, Dangun, Mahou, Garegga, Kets... Who is this Live Wire Inc. publisher anyway?

It's a small company that appears to have some former Cave staff. Makoto Takada, for one.chempop wrote:Who is this Live Wire Inc. publisher anyway?

Interested only in ESPGaluda II as I've already pump'd n' dump'd the other two games. But I'm glad at least for making Galuda 2 a little easier/cheaper to purchase. Wonder how good the port will be; I'll wait for some of you others to buy it first to let me know

Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
Picked up Mushihimesama and while I've only just booted up the game, input latency feels *very* good to the thumb in the menus, which is a good sign. Also, in the Switch's Intellectual Property Notices screen, the developers didn't use a third party engine like Unity, and there's no middleware listed - a real rarity for a game made in 2021.
Expecting good things.
Game credits for anyone interested:
Producer:
Junichi Asami
Director:
Hisakata Aso
Lead Programmers:
Tomochika Arai
Shinichi Matsumoto
Special Thanks

Katsuhiro Sanjo
Executive Thanks
Makoto Takada
I think it's a conversion of the PC version, because the credits also include the PC version staff (As far as I can see). Could someone cross reference?

In for galuda 2. Happy enough with a switch port so I have less reason to bust out the 360 but really hoping for a PC port. I'll take what I can get

Yeah, looking forward to reports on latency as that seems to be the Switch's Achilles heel.

Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
There seems to be some confusion, but I guess the Switch version does include ver 1.5, making this a better buy than the Steam version.
Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
I downloaded it during my lunch break and played a quick Arcade Mode Maniac credit. This release is very responsive (like Ikaruga and Cotton Reboot), so somewhere around a 3-frame delay. To me, this feels tighter than the M2 ESPRa.De. Psy release on Switch.

Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
Yeah, it's basically very similar to the Cave 360 releases (except Futari with M2's incredible display filter options) but what threw me off was the credits start with what looks like the Degica PC version (anyone able to confirm?), before moving to Nintendo Switch credits.m.sniffles.esq wrote:There seems to be some confusion, but I guess the Switch version does include ver 1.5, making this a better buy than the Steam version.
Played a proper round of this and it's very responsive indeed, and it looks surprisingly excellent on the Switch's display, sprites in 1.5 are pin-sharp, though I still wish it had the image options from Futari on 360 because the backgrounds are now pixel doubled and would look better on a CRT.
Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
What can I do to talk everyone into buying this instead of waiting for Espgaluda 2? I know it's played out for many of you, but the more shmups we buy, the more shmups get ported.
Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
Never played OG mushi, just futari- so I’m in for sure.
And yes... hate to be that guy but... pls support this effort.

Galuda II didn't get a PC port, right? This bodes well that other CAVE games could come eventually make their way over maybe in 2022.
Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
Galuda II didn't get a PC port *and* it didn't get translated on 360. If this is in English, I'm even more excited!

I recommend placing that Flip Grip order ASAP. Trust me, it's only $12 and handheld yoko gets old fast.Creamy Goodness wrote:Getting a Switch for Father's Day. I know what I will be doing on my Sunday.
If you have a Pro Controller in your near future, some people swear by attachments that clip the Switch screen to the top of one of those as well.
Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
Depends how you look at it. The Steam version will be playable / downloadable for a much greater period of time compared to the Switch version. Same with the leaderboards. Nintendo are fairly ruthless when it comes to switching off online services once a console generation has expired. You also have a significantly longer period of future compatibility with newer hardware for the Steam version.m.sniffles.esq wrote:There seems to be some confusion, but I guess the Switch version does include ver 1.5, making this a better buy than the Steam version.

Wish I could bruh. They are sold out with no specified time for a restock. I set it up so they email me when they are back in stock, but I don't have a whole lot of faith in that. Just gotta keep checking their site and hope to catch them when they have some stock.Sengoku Strider wrote:I recommend placing that Flip Grip order ASAP. Is it just me or are the controls not getting adjusted when you rotate the screen into TATE mode? Am I missing a setting?
*Never mind. I found the link rotation setting right below. All good now,

Make sure you're going to the options from the outer menu, not within a game mode, and turn on Link Rotation. The settings from the outer menu apply to all game modes.silverhick wrote:Is it just me or are the controls not getting adjusted when you rotate the screen into TATE mode? Am I missing a setting?
Re: Mushi, DDP Res, Esp 2 for Switch
This is awesome. Would love to see Futari and Futari BL on there.
