Show us your Video Games related models you have built

Post by SAM »

I am a scaled model builder in additional to Retro gamer. Time to time I would collect and build some video game related models. :o

Here in this thread, we would show fellow Shmups Forum members photos of our proud creations. :D

Here is the rules:
(1) To be consider Video Game related, the corresponding game has to be first released as a video game, it could have anime, manga later, but not the other way around.

For example:
These IPs are okay: Sakura War, Tale of Phantasia, KoF, Metal Slug, Gunbird, Death Smile, Virtual On, Touho Series.

These IPs are not accepted: Macross, Gundam, Dragon Balls, Full Metal Panic, Girls & Panzer.

(2) It has to be built and/or painted by yourself.

(3) Please also provide the following information (As far as you know):
The name of your creation,
The Scale of the model,
If it is a kit, please also states the maker of the kit.

[Virtual On] 1/100 RVR-14 Fei-Yen Kn by Kotobukiya

This model took me five weeks to finished!!! Total parts are more than 160+.

The completed model is about the size of a 1:144 Gundam model.

Yeah, that's super cool. Seeing the model like that, it really reminds me of Masamune Shiro's manga style. Good stuff.

KV-2 [from MENG's World War Toons Series]

I finished this model a few days ago. It is built stright from the box, I had used some realistic weathering technials when I did the print job. This togeters with the model's Super Deform style make the model even more interesting.

Just finished a M5 Stuart Kit from MENG's World War Toons series. As it was rainning all days in the last few days, Tamiya Acrylic paints were used for this model. Finished with some weathering.

Just completed another World War Toons Series' kit. I have researched the Caunter Scheme a bit, and the colors used is the true colors being used during WWII. As for the pattern being applied, it is just made up.

Just completed another World War Toons Series' kit. This would be my last World War Toons kit for the moment, I would be building normal 1/35 kits for a while.
