No announcements have been made yet but you can bet your ass one of the scalper bros are going to sink their fangs into big cotton pantsu and have some nice collector's edition junk for all of us. I'm importing right away, as soon as I can.
This. (I love rainbow cotton)Shelcoof wrote:Once you got use to the controls on Rainbow Cotton it was alright.
Cant Wait!! ThanksFebruary 25th is the release date for the reboot on Switch.
Has this gone up for pre-order or anything anywhere yet?BulletMagnet wrote:February 25th is the release date for the reboot on Switch.
It's up for pre-order here: https://www.nin-nin-game.com/en/search? ... rch=SearchWittischism wrote:https://www.gematsu.com/2020/10/cotton- ... n-detailed
Info on the limited edition. I don't see it up for preorder at Play Asia for pre-order, but it says Japanese retailers.
That article states ININ Games is doing the localization. Does that imply (or confirm) the physical release is by Strictly Limited?NeoStrayCat wrote:Cotton Reboot gets a western release, no specific date yet.

Unless otherwise, Strictly Limited does their own publishing/printing. An example, The Ninja Warriors Once Again (The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors) had separate physical releases by Strictly Limited and ININ games.prophetic wrote:That article states ININ Games is doing the localization. I'm guessing there'll be a massively delayed and overpriced SLG release alongside a budget regular retail release. That seems to be ININ's M.O. by now.prophetic wrote: That article states ININ Games is doing the localization. Does that imply (or confirm) the physical release is by Strictly Limited?
Yep, just got my shipping confirmation from PA as well. I went with the LE, so teacup inbound.EmperorIng wrote:Just got the notification that my order from Play-Asia has shipped! Just the normal version (I don't need no tea cup*). I'm looking forward to giving Cotton n' co. some proper attention in hopefully a few weeks. Game looks so good.
*I tell myself
You're not the only one with that reason lol.Jonpachi wrote:I'm 90% into this just for the teacup. Excited to play the Japanese PC version of the game.
It includes the Sharp X68k port as well as a remaster of Cotton. The Sharp port is an enhanced version of the arcade release.AyeYoYoYO wrote:Is this a totally new Cotton ?
Ohh, it's a redraw of the OG cotton.
Never played it.
Just the Saturn (loved them) and Dreamcast one (beautiful but not as great as Boomerang).
I assume the 1991 OG plays almost exactly like Cotton 2 and Boomerang ?
I wouldn't say it was massively overpriced (€39.99), but nothing but silence from SLG today while you guys are getting your Asian orders shipped...>_>Sumez wrote:I'm guessing there'll be a massively delayed and overpriced SLG release alongside a budget regular retail release.
