Burning Rangers was proof Saturn could do everything PS1 could do...or at least that’s what I said to friends back in 96 lol

My #1 hope for an eventual Taito F2 Arcade Archives series. Belt perspective was so under-used outside of beat 'em ups.
The only game like DC that comes to mind is Taito's much earlier Tin Star (foot of post), a neat rotary shooter which (like its hardware stablemates Wild Western and Front Line) suffers from a trying combo of screaming BG colours and dull bullets. It's worse in TS actually, since at least the latter two use line-type bullets, as opposed to its tiny grey dots. Just about worth tolerating imo.

To launch the thread, here is The House of the Dead on Saturn. A terrible port of an amazing game, which still technically makes it amazing lol

Re: All my YT videos - A.B. Cop - 8/30
I wish sega would. It looks like a fun game. I also would like to see modern ports/emulations of some of Sega's early "non-super" scaling games.
Re: All my YT videos - Cadillacs and Dinosaurs - 9/13
I think it is. At least among the ones with basic gameplay, bare handed. It's the ultimate Final Fight.awbacon wrote:https://youtu.be/7Mh6GFP3z6U
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs...possibly the best Capcom beat em up ever?
The pacing is the best in the genre. It perfectly balances hectic moments and more manageable bits. It never feels like a marathon, real life stamina draining, like Final Fight feels at the last stage.
