I no longer have any idea what's going on - but that plane gif is awesome.

Wait - is it carpet bombing a country with 5G repeaters to spread Covid?

Did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Human beings are fantastic.

Just saw from a mainstream media here that there are 100 000 covid deaths in Brasil. Damn, that's no small number. Don't know if it was reported correctly or not

Should be about right. Reuters is a good place to go for neutral reporting. https://graphics.reuters.com/CHINA-HEAL ... index.html

They are a financial media outlet dedicated to bringing people accurate information for the basis of purchasing stocks and securities.

No, I didn't sneeze or hear sneezing from the other people getting tested. It made my nose run a lot afterwards and I had to use tissues. There were lots of them available there.

There's a whole cavity in there.

The cavity is usually what gets infected first, and not just by CoViD-19, either. All kinds of crap will stick to the back wall there as you just normally breathe through your nose.

It burns and makes your eyes water, but it's over quickly.

The sense of relief I got from my recent negative result was worth the price, in my mind.

I was extremely sick to my stomach and thought I might have had covid diarrhea.

(some people just have GI tract symptoms and nothing respiratory)

In retrospect I probably ate one of those bad onions from the recall.

Had to get tested after being admitted to hospital for super scawy suspected cerebral haemorrhage. Worst part of stay by far. Tested again at end of week, caused me to splutter and need a redo. Eyes watered a lot after. Fuckin sucks, pity anyone who has to do it regularly. Gimme a thousand needles over that shit. Negative both, what do I give a fuck. Just let me bat this Commie Bat AIDS away with my massive Yankee rod. Told you motherfuckers it ain't shit to me. Doin it for grandma basically. :/

Readers should try the most common American home cure for a suspected brain haemorrhage: Curl up in bed and hope it isn't a brain haemorrhage because you can't afford the hospital bill. :)

The home of the brave!

Good thing we just nominated a senile old right wing establishment politician and a Condi Rice clone (what? you mad? prove me wrong! Female, black and right wing is Condi Rice!)

That'll fix it! :)

The left needs to learn to be Machiavellian.

Who of these two potential enemies is the weaker?

IMO you can't go from rolling your eyes at centrists over their non-material politics of representation and then turn around and say, "my vote is a sacred expression of my soul, I can't sully it by voting tactically!"

The squad stands firm and continues to pick off establishment heavies from political dynasties.

Eye on the prize.

My current roommate and I have been tested locally twice b/c

1: It's available
2: It's free
3: Social responsibility, considering 1 + 2
4: I did actually fly just before.

Both were merely rim jobs... for about 10 seconds. Only a few centimeters of nostril penetration. The roomie went on a visa run to Japan, where they gave him the full monty up the nostril. Apparently not fun. I can only imagine.

I am going on vacation to Maine to visit GFs family. There are four of us going up there and we all had to get tested beforehand.

Coincidentally, I got an email from work yesterday that I would have to get tested to get back on campus. Although I'm basically WFH for the moment, I do need to get into the office every once in awhile to grab stuff or mess with the servers in the office.

My biggest irk is that when I tell people I got tested and it was negative, many first ask why I got tested. Maybe it's just their way of asking if I'm okay, but it feels like the consensus is you should only get tested if you think you've got it. That basically sums up perfectly why we're fucked.

To be honest, I don`t feel the difference between past world life and nowaday life.
But all people are still wearing masks, so I thought may be covid can be eternal and we`ll be able to customize our masks cause it will be the part of our look xd

I'm really not into the thing where police are enforcing curfews under the threat of death.

Er, I think you might have posted this in the wrong thread, as the curfew being enforced has nothing to do with the pandemic.

That said, though, I will still take this opportunity to post this bit of brilliance.
