I just picked up a HyperDuel pcb. I am super stoked to finally have this.
Technosoft has been one of my favorite game companies since the 90's.
It took a while to find one at a fair price.

Nice Burning Force ;)

Nice get above on Hyper Duel too.

I've not been buying PCBs really lately, on a massive and foolhardly 8-bit cassette binge, and buying watches, and wondering why I can't afford to pay for some car work as a result. However I did grab this - a working Seibu CATS mahjong system with "Nurse Call" software. It offers good picture quality but honestly every system after the Nichibutsu "High Rate DVD" system is a downgrade in terms of the actual software. With the CATS games I've tried so far they're very simplistic, use lots of recycled audio, tilesets and game code. HRDVD titles typically had card games, roulette, minigames, item shops etc with a lot more video integration into the gameplay. The drives are all falling apart though and need to be very early units supporting security-on-controller instead of security-on-drive, sad times.

It's been quite a while since I last had some arcade PCBs arriving, so I think these delicious babies should satisfy my hunger for now :O

The System16 is Tetris. Shinobi would have been really cool too. But I'm a Tetris junkie.
UPL board is the legendary Omega Fighter

Reposting these from the Awesome stuff thread. Figured I'd post them here as I intend to get more PCBs in the future.
Last week I bought this Fixeight board after taking a gamble on a lot of PCBs on a local Facebook Marketplace listing, 30 bucks for non-tested boards. Normally I wouldn’t have gone for it, but after identifying the board from the pics provided I had to bite. Also in the lot a bunch of bootlegs, and a faulty Tecmo Wild Fang which boots but has graphic and color errors.

Bought these in Japan last November.

I haven't bought a PCB in ages, because shit has gotten so expensive, but this one was always on my wanted list and I got lucky and scored a good deal.

I just bought
Espgaluda II, Salamander, Kyukyoku Tiger II and Solomon's Key.
I was on the hunt for an original Solomon's Key for about 5 years or so.
I also gegret, that I didn't grab Salamander and Espgaluda II years earlier,
when these were a lot cheeper. :)

I got two masterful MVS games...

...and Kaneko's Mille Miglia: The Great 1000 Miles Rally.

Great game and still dirt cheap. Can't even remember the last time I spent 30€ for an arcade game.

Spin Master is good stuff - I know DECO had a bit of a reputation for jank, but it seems absolutely airtight from the three or so stages I've cleared. Reminds me a lot of Capcom's Chiki Chiki Boys, actually! Big cartoony sprites, rapid pace and dead-on mechanics.

I can't pretend to know the first thing about golf, but I will say NTM has the best Metal Slug OST that never was, straight from HIYA himself.

I've never actually played it before, but I did enjoy it's quasi prequel Dashin' Desperadoes. However, I still have some mild PTSD from having to learn the three minute, seventeen-phase, μm-precision-requirement boss patterns in Captain Lang (...still a great game tho), so we'll see.

Haha, neither do I, but I have a couple of friends who absolutely swear by the game and who've been bugging me for years to pick it up. The OST is what finally made me cave in. ;)

Very curious to spend some time with this. Always wrote it off as a mere Metal Slug rip-off, but I've been assured it very much brings unique qualities to the table and is legit in its own right. First visual impression is impressive for sure!

Anybody know about the versions? This one says Ver. 1.1. Game seems poorly documented online, both in terms of tech and game strats.

Aw nice :o That one and Dolphin Blue are my two biggest bucket list R2RKMFs. Sumez is relatively well-versed in Demon Front, IIRC, probably the guy to ask.
