Qoob Pro iplboot with Serial Port 2 support

Post by Konsolkongen »

Long shot but does anyone have a compiled version of iplboot with Serial Port 2 support?

https://github.com/redolution/iplboot

I tried following along with this guide to compile my own:
https://things.bleu255.com/moddingfrida ... into_Swiss

but at one point it says to "Adjust your shell rc with the following environment variables:" and I have absolutely no idea what he is talking about :/ Tried googling it and I'm fairly sure he is referring to run commands. There is a run command parameter setting in terminal on Mac, but I can't make any sense of it :/
Furthermore that guide might not be applicable for the latest version anyway so I thought I would just ask here, hoping that someone already has a compiled version.

I managed to get it working using Ubuntu rather than macOS :)

Swiss now loads automatically from the serial port 2.

Let me know if anyone needs this.

@Konsolkongen

Yes please, I would love this for my Qoob Pro :D

I have tried to compile this many times, and failed. So well done achieving what I could not!

Hopefully you still have the compiled iplboot.gcb

Could you send this to me as well. I bought a SD2SP2 and would like to update my Qoob Pro to load Swiss from the SD2SP2. Thanks!

It's very strange, but an official (pre-release) iplboot r6 was released the day after Konsolkongen sent me his file

It states that it has SD2SP2 support.

Not tested myself as the one I got from Konsolkongen is perfect, but here is the link:
https://github.com/redolution/iplboot/releases/tag/r6

Update: tested the official file and it works too

Figures! I tried for 3 weeks get my first message approved so I could request the file from Konsolkongen. Then it finally does... and a day later an official update for iplboot comes out.
