Ahh, I see. I've only seen bi-directional RCA pre-mades everywhere else (which isn't many places, granted...) other than RGC UK, so I kinda got the "let's milk 'em for $!" impression. But if it's drastically easier/less time for them to produce, then more power to 'em. however it's possible to wire some adapters that'll work on both input and output (I think they have a resistor in line somewhere)
