I'm off to Paris for 5 days in late May then Rome for a week in August. The missus has read "The Da Vinci Code" (shite novel!) and want's to check some of the stuff that was in the book.
I've always fancied Paris & Rome so i'm looking forward do doing the sad sightseeing stuff.

If we can afford it i'd like to go to Prague for christmas. I guess we'll see how the money thing pans out.

I'll do a few local "religious journeys" to the local arcade.

Hide in places with air conditioning, wishing someone would extinguish the sun.

I suspect that once again I'll be spending a good portion of the summer at work (and depending on how much work gets done on the product between now and then, I could be there a lot) but at least I have a nice little Carribean cruise with most of my family to look forward to next month, with stops in San Juan, St. Thomas ans Tortola. That should be a lot of fun.

DITTO!!!

Besides that, lots and lots of biking and hiking at my parents cabin, plenty of swimming, and some boating...if I decide to get a boat of my own. Maybe I will have a summer shmupmeet/waterski event.

If all goes well, I'll be moving out.

Living with the family's cool and all, but not when I'm the only one with a fucking job.

When I'm moved out, I'll start planning classes for college, start a new career path, and actually get my fucking life started...mostly because I'll be living with my friends. Actual human comradery. Something i don't have at home.

The only downside? Arcades in Vegas > Arcades in Reno. :? (..not like it matters any in the long run)

What? It's not that bad in Cambridge, is it?

My summer plan is to buy a airplane ticket for a japanese friend to visit me.

That's right in my neighborhood. In fact, I frequently get gas for my car at the Chevron next door to DigiPen. I've even given some thought to trying to get in their Computer Engineering program, but ultimately I think I've decided there's not enough stability in the gaming industry for my liking, and my career experience seems to be taking me in the direction of business applications anyway.

Nothing much will be happening me this summer, although I'm already going to plan a trip to Socal and meet my relatives there. Other than that, I'm just gonna go hang out at my local arcade (shmup and bemani goodness) woowoowoo.
