Ah, you're the reason they made three of them. Now I understand.

I'd say the quality of those Expendables posters are at least equivalent to the movies, so that's something - but the thread is for "awesome movie posters", and they look like they were made on Microsoft Word.

Drew Stuzan did most of the best movie posters of all time.
Check out the documentary about him if you haven’t already.

What's the oldest movie you've ever seen?

I don't know what the oldest movie I've seen, there are a lot of them, honestly... And I have seen the other Lethal Weapon movies. In fact, I own them all.

The Indonesian version of The Raid 2 poster seems cool, unlike the overseas version which is mimicking like usual B-class poster.

Halloween III French (?) poster:

Nix the ctrl-v'd kids from the lower-right, and I really like this one. Simple, brutal graphic perfectly reflecting the movie's rather evil plot.

For me it is the US poster that is the best. I have an original 1982 Poster that was used for advertisement in a tube at present but I hope to get it framed.
H3 is one of my favourite Horrors too and I have a little shrine to it with many versions of the film and media, I also have a few issues of horror mags that reviewed H3. I have the novel twice, CD soundtrack, the vinyl, not got the Laserdisc yet but I have releases from several countries.

Oh cool! :o I totally get the shrine thing, I'm the same with Gradius, Raiden and Daimakaimura console ports. Love that the Granada tank is in the frame too. ;3

I really like Halloween III. Novel and extremely dark science fiction-themed horror. I think it's a shame they weren't able to continue the anthology approach... always my favoured route for horror sequels.

I agree, it would have been more interesting for them to have used the anthology approach instead of rehashing the Michaeal Myers 'out and about again' that it devolved into :)

It has some pretty 80s' concepts and it always makes me chuckle when you see the Robots chipping away at that stolen Stonehenge Pillar that they stole from England :D
It was meant to be quite a bit darker according to what the original writer had in mind but they toned it down a bit but we still got the 'big give-a-way'

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Barely warrants "spoilering", but I'm afraid it's not quite work-safe, so there you have it...

The title caught my eye when I was reading about Christopher Doyle's filmography. Funny how just when I called Ashes of Time "anything but another wuxia movie", I learned that the same person filmed Hero.

Is this image worth the bump? I saw it and enjoyed the heavy-metal interpretation (upgrade?) to an undoubtedly goofy 50s rubber monster. Guwange, anyone?

Higher res, but with more creases:

Think of how much better the movie would be if it actually had a skull spider as its monster?

Still, gotta respect a man making the same type of movie and sticking to the same genre 20 years later (1977)

Man, that would have been rad. Empire of the Ants is total ass, but props to Bert for basically doing everything behind the scenes in that movie.

I consider The Last Picture Show one genre-defining flick, movies-wise. If there was money and good will to make What's Eating Gilbert Grape and such afterwards, that surely was thanks to it. Heck, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is The Last Picture Show's descendant, in a way.
