Furrtek recently released an update to the firmware a week or so ago. Following along the Twitter thread for the announcement, a few folks had issues updating this firmware. For those folks, it sounds like simply using a different SD card resolved their problems.
I've been much less fortunate. I attempted to update my firmware, but now I'm in a position where none of my SD cards are readable ("No card present"). I tried loading the special wipe firmware but that also appears to not have been read. I pinged Furrtek on Saturday and haven't heard back, but I'm wondering if anyone else here has diagnosed this problem or has a list of known good SD card manufacturers that have greater reliability. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

He was able to fix this by using a smaller SD card. I ordered an 8GB card and confirmed that it successfully resolved my problem. So if anyone else experiences this, give this a try.
